The potassium hydroxide in this product is used as a preservative, not as part of the soap-making process. Usually potassium hydroxide would not be a CG approved ingredient due to being part of the saponification process in soap. As this is a styling product, not soap, we consider it to follow the general guidelines of the CG Method.

Take a deep breath and become centered. Distribute throughout damp hair, using fingertips to work product from roots to ends. Blow dry, scrunch and style as desired. On dry, short styles apply a dime size amount to fingertips to smooth, create structure and hold style.
